      JOURNEY SO FAR ALONG WITH PHILOSOPHY

  • Started humble in 2012 with  a small outpatient clinic, providing consultancy as well as basic non-invasive diagnostic services like ECG, echocardiography, treadmill testing, Holter monitoring etc
  • 3 founding partners – Dr Chirag Sheth, Dr Arvind Sharma, Dr Nirav Bhalani
  • Invasive cardiology services like coronary angiography, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation services were provided – as attachments in other big hospitals in Vadodara
  • Then moved soon to a rented space in another campus – Pranayam Hospital
  • Started outpatient clinics in multiple towns and rural areas – Bharuch, Rajpipla, Bodeli, Chhota Udaipur, Godhra, Dahod, Lunawada, Ratlam, Nagda, Jhabua, Banswara – to serve in areas not well catered to
  • Added 4th director – Dr Anand Ahuja in 2015 to expand the core team base
  • October 2015 – started 50 bedded Rhythm Heart Institute, Dahod – with cathlab, operation theatre, 18 bedded ICU, dialysis services – intention to treat patients from far flung areas, many of whom fail to reach bigger cities in times of emergencies
  • May 2016 – started 100 bedded multi-specialty Rhythm Heart Institute, Vadodara – with 3 modular operation theatres, a state-of-the-art cathlab, 2 ICUs and other ancillary services in Sama Savli road
  • Cardiology, cardio-thoracic surgery, critical care, neurology, nephrology, gastro-enterology, general surgery, orthopaedics, joint replacements, urology, psychiatry services provided
  • Took up management of outsources cardiology departments in various other hospitals in and around Vadodara – such as Savita hospital, Sunshine Global hospital, Parul Sevashram hospital, Spandan hospital, etc
  • 2019 – started 85 bedded multi-specialty Rhythm Heart Institute, Banswara
  • Kept building a team, slowly and steadily – an enthusiastic team of 9 interventional cardiologists, 2 cardiac surgeons, 2 non-invasive cardiologists, 2 intensivists besides other specialty consultants and medical officers, nursing and para-medical staff
  • Gradually built a strong and robust team of approximately 400 staff (between all hospitals), ably managed and guided by the core team

  • With a purpose to help spread awareness about heart healthy lifestyle, have been conducting regular health awareness talks amongst various citizen groups
  • Have often conducted cardio-pulmonary resuscitation trainings, organized walkathons on occasion of world heart day – tp spread valuable information and develop life-saving skills
  • Actively participated in Baroda Marathon to promote healthy lifestyle practices
  • Academics substantially promoted at all levels – post graduate diploma program in clinical cardiology initiated in liaison with the Texila American University in 2017, Diplomat of National Board in Interventional Cardiology started collaborating with the National Board of Examinations in 2019
  • Have extended academic programs in invasive cardiology techniques to overseas students from Uzbekistan, Cambodia
  • Regular academic programs and CMEs done to upgrade and update cardiology amongst physicians and general practitioners 
  • Collaborations with other academic institutions to train nurses, cath-lab technicians, undergraduate and postgraduate medical students to sharpen their clinical skills
  • Regularly organize live workshops and demonstrate complex operative skills to train cardiologists across the country and overseas through national and international conferences
  • Have been regularly inviting stalwarts from across the country and beyond (like Japan) to help sharpen skills in complex cardiac interventions
  • Have always been pioneers in accepting and adapting newer and advanced techniques such as optical coherence tomography, intra vascular ultrasound, FFR, rota ablations
  • Have successfully done hundreds of complex coronary interventions such as bifurcation angioplasties, left main angioplasties, CTO angioplasties, etc besides devices, pacemakers, electrophysiology studies and radio frequency ablations – establishing the most prominent institute in central Gujarat routinely performing all cases of varying complexities – with a rich in-house availability of all necessary state-of-the-art equipment, expertise and experience
